Information Technology Senior Leader

Job Description Spectrolab is seeking a senior-level innovative IT professional with 10+ years' experience leading IT teams and projects to lead the Business Information Systems (BIS) team at our Sylmar, CA manufacturing facility. This position reports to the President of Spectrolab. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day operations of a complex IT infrastructure that includes factory automation systems, SAP, Spectrolab-unique custom and Commercial off the Shelf applications and hardware. Partner with the business to implement innovative IT solutions for the factory. Manage a diverse team of IT professionals including on-site employees and contractors, and off-site contractors providing 24/7 support for SAP. Effectively manage the IT Budget. This includes providing accurate budget estimates, operating at or under budget, and finding innovative ways to reduce operating costs. Maintain compliance with Boeing and Government (NIST 180-171) cybersecurity requirements. Manage software purchases and renewals. Leverage Boeing IT for common solutions. Understand and adhere to Boeing IT processes and policies in the day-to-day management of the Spectrolab IT environment. Qualifications Basic Qualifications This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 10+ years' experience managing and/or leading IT teams Demonstrated leadership innovation, program management and strong communications skills including the ability to prepare for and brief at executive level. Proficient in all Microsoft Office suite applications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Boeing IT experience Project Management - leading large corporate-wide IT Projects Experience using or supporting SAP products and functionality. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
