Principal Mechanical Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o Design and develop patient wearable devices and device components for medical device products. o Design and develop fixtures and hardware for the manufacture and testing of implants. o Conduct brainstorming sessions and design reviews, build prototypes, release designs under design control and document control. o Develop, document and validate new processes for various manufacturing operations relating to new implant designs. o Execute/manage small to medium sized projects, perform project design and status review presentations for technical area of responsibility. Acts as both a leader and design engineer where appropriate in projects. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: BS or MS in mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: o Experience with engineering drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g. AutoCad and SolidWorks). o Experience in design for plastic injection molding and CNC machining. o Experience with basic machine shop tools. o Experience in design control. o Experience with verification and validation testing and documentation. o Experience with selection and management of manufacturing vendors. o Motivated, highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks at one time. o Strong communication skills and the ability to function in team environment. o Experience in the medical device industry or pharmaceutical industry is critical. Experience in another regulated industry may substitute depending on the candidate's strengths. o Experience with managing small to medium sized engineering projects.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
