Senior Electrical Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o Designs and tests portable embedded systems which include image acquisition circuitry, digital signal processing and communications systems for use with implantable medical devices. o Specifies and designs RF systems and circuitry to transfer power and data to implantable medical devices. o Performs requirements analysis, detailed design, documentation and presentation in a team setting. o Develops documentation to transfer design to production. o Develops test plans/systems to support verification, validation, and production testing. o Strategic planning of product development incorporating appropriate technologies. o Responsible for project progress reports and problem analysis. o Works closely with implant, clinical, regulatory, and manufacturing teams. o Develops team members both technically and non-technically to improve team's engineering ability and communication. o Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations' policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: MS in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5 to 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS ABILITIES: o Experience with design and simulation software (e.g. SPICE, VHDL or Verilog, Altium) o Experience in design control. o Experience with verification and validation testing and documentation. o Motivated, highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks at one time. o Strong communication skills and the ability to function in team environment. o Experience in the medical device industry or pharmaceutical industry is critical. o Experience in another regulated industry may substitute depending on the candidate's strengths.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
