JD Edwards Payroll/HR Analyst

Located in Sylmar, CA. our client is one of the largest construction companies in the country specializing in building major infrastructure projects through-out the world. The company has an opening for a JD Edwards Applications Analyst that has with expertise in the Payroll and HR modules. They are an IBM shop running Oracle/EnterpriseOne and are very progressive with both cloud-based and On-Premise Applications. Position Summary: The JD Edwards Applications Analyst provides enterprise-wide support for the company's JD Edwards application for HR/Payroll and ESS timekeeping modules. The JD Edwards Applications Analyst is the first line of support for end-users and the company's foremost expert on JDE HR/Payroll functionality and associated business processes. The JD Edwards Applications Analyst partners with IT Systems Analysts on the resolution of system issues, development of ad hoc reports, evaluation of enhancement requests and identification of solution options in JD Edwards. The BSA works closely with business process owners, subject matter experts (SME's), IT resources and third party consultants to resolve issues and meet ongoing business needs. The HR/Payroll BSA is responsible for ensuring consistent standards for HR administration, timekeeping and payroll are applied across the organization. The JD Edwards Applications Analyst acts as a business partner to HR, Payroll and Business Unit operations staff and provides the support and education necessary to ensure timely and accurate personnel records, employee timekeeping and payroll results. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
