Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Spectrolab, Inc.,a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team . This position is located at our manufacturing facility in Sylmar, California and will, most likely, support 2nd shift .
Preventative Maintenance ? Perform routine preventative maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Candidate will be required to interface with vendors to acquire spare part information, or for troubleshooting purposes. Rebuild sub-assemblies of equipment in a shop environment.
Diagnostic and Repair ? Troubleshoot equipment failures to determine cause and corrective action. Repair and improve equipment to prevent future failures from occurring. Work with engineering and manufacturing subject matter experts to assist with complex issue resolutions.
Chemical Handling ? Work with and around hazardous chemicals in a safe manner. Maintain equipment used to sustain sensitive chemical processes.

Required Qualifications
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. ? 120.15 ?US Person? includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Technical background in maintaining and repairing automated equipment in a fast paced production environment
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and mechanical drawings
Experience troubleshooting electronic, mechanical, & pneumatic systems
Able to use self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and cartridge respirators for some maintenance activities
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to make high quality solder repairs of wiring and circuits.
Familiarity with automation equipment such as PLCs, robotics, and sensors.
Familiarity with vacuum systems and semi-conductor processing equipment
AA degree, trade school degree, or equivalent in electronics
Factory training on Vacuum equipment, photo resist cooling equipment, photo alignment equipment, Dicing, tape mount, wet processing equipment.
Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
LEAN training with emphasis on TPM
Typical Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
