(Full-Time) Reporting to the Outpatient Program Manager, the Licensed Quality Assurance Specialist oversees the functions of quality assurance, quality improvement and utilization management in a Residential and Mental Health Services Program.? Responsibilities include the monitoring of clinical services to assure minimum quality assurance and continuous quality improvement and the supervision and tracking of the delivery of evidence-based programs at the assigned facility. The Licensed QA Specialist will oversee and directly supervise the assessment and referral mechanisms of the Admissions Office and staff; maintains supervisory direction over dispositional and referral processes for all prospective patient/clients to appropriate treatment modalities. The position will review patient charts and/or DMH mental health charts, and associated records at periodic intervals.?



???????? Must be a licensed Mental Health practitioner (LMFT, LCSW) and maintain appropriate training to maintain licensure.


???????? Four (4) years professional level experience in a medical or mental health setting or equivalent experience and abilities.

???????? Must be able to supervise students, registered AMFT and ACSW.

???????? Must have training/certification in EBPs; 1 MAP, Seeking Safety, TF-CBT, ART

???????? Must have 2 years of DMH experience and knowledge of documentation standards.

???????? Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the concepts of providing outstanding customer care.

???????? Ability to work independently on complex assignments.

???????? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to make decisions independently and effective communication when dealing with clients, families, other staff members, department heads, visitors, external agencies and community members.

???????? Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with appropriate documentation skills to complete reports, utilize data and communicate ideas constructively.

???????? Must maintain a valid CA Drivers? License, have proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe driving record based on Phoenix House policy.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
