Job Summary
The Assembler 2 is the intermediate level position of the Assembly Line, has more experience than an Assembler 1, and is able to work on more complex tasks.
What You Will Do
Positions parts to be assembled by following blue prints and Standard Work Instructions.
Works at station as member of assembly group assembling one or more specific parts to meet production requirements. Assembles push button switches, grips, wheels, or transducers.
Positions parts in specific opening and screws or bolts them in place.
Solders parts by following schematic, blueprint, and Standard Work Instructions to assemble final unit.
Verifies correct assembly of final unit.
Ability to test unit with related test fixture.
Performs related duties, which may be assigned.
What You Will Bring
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 3 years of assembly experience in an aerospace or similar manufacturing industry
Minimum 1 year Soldering/Welding experience
Intermediate level skill in blue print and/or schematic reading
Some knowledge of Continuous Improvement Practices
Effective communication skills in English with the ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
