Deputy Director Residential

Reporting to the Director ofResidentialServices, the Deputy Director is directly responsible for the overall daily
operations of the residential program, including but not limited to; the
effective delivery of all services to residents, supervision of workforce,
compliance with agency policies and procedures, and compliance with all county
and state regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
+ Bachelors
in arelatedfieldrequired.
+ MSW
orMFTpreferred.
+ BilingualSpanishpreferred.
EXPERIENCE:
+ Minimum
of four years of experience working in an adolescent residential treatment
setting, with two of the four years in a supervisory capacity.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
+ Ability
and willingness to report to work on time and ready for work on each scheduled
day.
+ Ability
to work in a fast-paced environment and to make decisions independently and
communicateeffectivelywhen dealing with
clients, families, other staff members, department heads, visitors, external
agencies and community members.
+ Ability
to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with appropriate
documentation skills to complete reports, utilize data and communicate ideas
constructively.
+ Ability
to establish and consistently enforce appropriate boundaries with
client/patients of Phoenix House.
+ Strong
crisis management, conflict resolution,andde-escalation skills.
+ Must
show anaptitudefor working as part of a
team.
+ Computer literatewith demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft
Office and web-based applications
+ Demonstrated
ability to utilize an electronic clinical management system.
+ Good
organization skills.
+ Demonstrated
ability to learn.
+ Ability
& willingness to work evenings and weekends.
+ Must maintain a valid
CA Drivers? License, have proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe
driving record based on Phoenix House policy

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
