Senior Scientist Clinical Research

We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Senior Clinical Research Scientist who will be responsible to develop clinical research strategies and clinical trial designs for investigational and commercial products. This role will also develop publication plans for clinical studies and drives publications.
Job Duties:
Apply scientific principles and best practices to the clinical development process
Work with multidisciplinary project teams to prepare and implement clinical development plans
Work with multidisciplinary project teams to support creation and development of clinical documents such as Report of Priors, Investigator Brochure, protocol synopsis, clinical protocols, statistical analysis plans, case report forms, clinical reports and publications
Develop expertise in both scientific and clinical/procedural application of novel techniques and methodologies
Review scientific literature to facilitate preparation of clinical and therapeutic strategies
Review, analyze and interpret data based upon scientific expertise and industry standard practices
Develop publication plan and drive publications
Review and administer investigator-initiated study proposals
Job Requirements:
+ 5 or more years of progressive clinical research
+ Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred. Degree in the sciences, medicine, or similar discipline highly preferred.
+ Strong technical leadership skills including the ability to coach and mentor less experienced employees.
+ Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
+ Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
+ Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
+ Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
+ Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
+ Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
+ Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
Your preferred qualifications and education:
+ Significant body of published research in fields related to combination product development.
+ Experience in medical device industry.
+ Ph.D. Degree in a relevant science.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
