Electrical Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary:
Primarily responsible for providing a high level of troubleshooting, problem solving, and repair of a wide range of production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery. Provides technical leadership to others in maintenance department and other departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Removes defective dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Use PLC/computer programs to trouble shoot equipment.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Key Competencies:
Working knowledge of production equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose all aspects of electrical controls, mechanical, hydraulic
and pneumatic equipment problems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with Electrical DC and AC up to 460 volts is required.
Working knowledge of electrical motor controls systems and components.
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC's is a plus.

Education:
Requires a 2-year technical degree on electrical motor controls or industrial automation.
Experience:
Requires Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
(Computer skills, mathematical abilities, analytical or reasoning abilities, communication skills, other technical skills, etc.)
Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Able to use CAD software to view prints

Able to work night shifts and on weekends when required.
Ability to move about in office, warehouse and manufacturing facilities.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
