Job Summary:
The Human Resource Director develops, leads and manages the delivery of HR services for the assigned client areas. Provides strategic business human resources support for Global Product Development, Market Development, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Medical Affairs, Finance, Legal and OEC organizations. Also responsible for Division HR Communications and Business Optimization functions including Metrics, Analytics and Business Integration activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
Job Duties:
+ Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
+ Ensures the effective delivery of HR services across multiple locations and functions.
+ Consults with managers to develop, evaluate and execute HR strategies.
+ Responsible for the development and leadership of HR staff supporting the assigned client areas.
+ Role is critical to executing people strategies, in coordination with AVP and Director colleagues, across the organizations worldwide.
+ Position supports Abbott Medical Device Divisions in Cardiac Arrhythmia and Heart Failure
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in related area
+ 8 to 10 years of relevant progressive HR experience in a related field
+ HR experience across multiple organizations/site locations
+ Prior Supervisory/Leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Advanced degree is Human Resources preferred
+ HR International experience preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
