Wraparound Director

Phoenix House seeks a Wraparound Director to join our Lake View Terrace, CA team. S/he is to be responsible for the direct supervision of all Wraparound Program staff, which includes teams that consist of Care Coordinators, Parent Partners, and Youth Partners. This position also assists the staff in empowering family teams while offering assistance with day-to-day trouble shooting and handling crisis situations. Additionally, the Wraparound Supervisor is to assist in overseeing that all service requirements are met, including staff meetings, trainings, reports, and other documentation.
Must be available to provide telephone support and crisis de-escalation to staff, youth and family, 24 hours a day/7 days a week, including holidays, through an on-call system.
?Must possess a Master?s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or related field from an accredited university, AND be licensed or license eligible
?Employee must possess a valid California Driver?s License, auto insurance, and a driving record that allows for the legal operation of personal and company vehicles
?Must have one (1) year of experience in human services and one year of experience in care coordination/case management
?Familiarity in role of lead trainer and role model to lower level staff; providing coaching and supervision in the course of resolving problems with clients, and assisting with crisis intervention
?Qualified to provide direct care and supervision to clients and staff while establishing and implementing the core components and structure of the therapeutic community
?Practiced in providing one to one counseling to staff and addresses areas where they need support with individual cases/problems
?Experience using appropriate de-escalation and crisis intervention skills with clients and when consulting/advising staff on how to approach such circumstances
?Strong demonstrated crisis management, conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
?Ability to establish positive and nurturing relationships with clients and staff within professional boundaries in accordance with Phoenix House policies and procedures
?Capacity to assist in the planning and implementation of methods to expose clients to a continuing rehabilitation and socialization process designed to alter former lifestyles, attitudes, and other negative behaviors
?Competent to prepare and conduct trainings for staff and/or county agencies, as well as co-facilitate groups
?Capability to all required training sessions in accordance with Phoenix House and/or county guidelines
?Apt to ensure and maintain all required communication with county representatives, including but not limited to: reporting of SIR?s, COR?s, POC uploads, funding and referral status?s, case commencements etc.
?Ability to monitor and ensure employee?s completion of required county documentation and that it is completed in accordance to county timelines
?Understanding of Mandated Reporter guidelines, laws, and regulations
?Strong grasp of all Wraparound Policies and Procedures and ability to ensure their accurate implementation throughout the program
?Fitted to establish and consistently enforce appropriate boundaries with client/patients of Phoenix House
?Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications
?Knowledgeable in utilization of EMR system

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
