Summary:
This position tends to special-purpose loading and unloading materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
(Other duties may be assigned) Move and/or assist in moving material needed in production machines in an assigned production area.
Assist in the loading and unloading of material in an assigned production area Transports material from one production area to another - by pushing/pulling a cart Assist in lifting and moving heavy loads as required Assemble glass packs as required by the production area Operate equipment to assist in the production process Assemble materials as required by the production area Inspect finished product for defects, to ensure that quality standards are met Ensures work area is maintained in an orderly and safe manner per company procedures.
Other duties may be assigned by the management team.

Qualifications:
Education:

diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
Prior experience in a production setting or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience in similar roles in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in glass manufacturing desired Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Basic Math--Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions and decimals.

Ability to lift/pull/push 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to work in a manufacturing/production shop environment as job duties require.
May be exposed to loud operating machinery and hot/cold temperatures.
